Explore Sensory Boundaries Expanding Your Creativity. Create Depth Drawing Words To Interpret a Poem, Song, Sentence

The illusion of depth is present within the piece and represented due to the spacial order created by words arcing in the background as well as the spiral coming forward. The spiral also spreads out at the ends, giving the space behind it a flat feeling.

The depth gets more defined around the  center of the ink blot spiral, which draws the eye forward and around the words. The blurred effect of the words creates a sense of motion throughout the words. The drooping ink effects draws the eyes to the center of the piece where the ink blot is. Since the words “The End” are in the background, the viewers eyes are drawn to that last.
