The concept is of a imaginary mattress store. The wings create imagery as well as a sense of balance. The repetitive line is used in creating the wings and creates a sense of motion that the logo is flying up to the viewer. The words also are weighted more in parts to appear to come out to viewer. The wings are balance the words which are the main focus and attracted the viewers eyes first, the proceed down to the words underneath. The line quality makes the logo pop, engaging the viewer.
This designed name creates a feeling of confidence, motion and boldness. The white lettering contrasts with the rapid moving black and red background. The motion of the lines creates a sense direction taking the viewers eye across the image.
